We celebrate and connect to the moon every month at the Moon Meditation evenings.
The Moon is a powerful cycle that takes 28 days to complete. During this cycle it has many stages. The New Moon gives us a new cycle and time to set our intentions so we can bring our desires into our lives. The Waxing Moon is a time of new growth and helps us have continued action in life.
The Full Moon is the time of high tide of power and heightened creativity. The Full Moon gives us the opportunity to release and allows us the opportunity to let go and what no longer serves us and what we no longer need to keep in our lives including aspects our self that we want to overcome and have overgrown.
The Waning Moon helps us to withdraw before the Dark Moon which is a time when we go within. A time for solitude when we can go deep within preparing for the next cycle of the moon. It’s a powerful time when the Moon is full with this power shining on us we have more strength to take action to change ourselves and to release.
The light of the moon which comes to us 3 days before the actual full Moon itself helps us to see in us what we can release, step away from be it an old action or mindset, attitudes, behaviors old ways that no longer serve us in life. It’s a time when we can recreate ourselves and be a better purer more empowered version of ourselves.
When it is a Full Moon take some time to connect with the moon by going outside or maybe light a candle and sit by yourself to reflect on you and your life and what you are ready to release, plus what is its you would like to become and what you would like more of in your life and in yourself.
The power of Water and Fire can help you to embody the energies more. For example you can write down all you want to release and in a safe manner burn it to allow the fire to transmute it. Taking a bath with some salt will help you to cleanse the body and mind of what no longer serves you.
